Question: Pretty music for contemporary dance!? (AS dance)!?
I have just started AS dance in college and I would like some non-lyrical music that has some sort of climax but starts off quite gentle and pretty!?
Any ideas would be lovely!. (:

I think I have a perfect song for you!

It's called "Life in Technicolor," by Coldplay, off their Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends album!. It starts off pretty and then it slowly starts to build, and then it comes to the climax!. I really enjoy listening to it!.

You can listen to it here, if you'd like: http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=RxmH4v0DJ!.!.!.

(on the CD, there's a longer intro to the actually build-up of music than there is here on this video!. It doesn't cut out much, actually, so no worries)!.

And, since that song encorporates a large portion of a song composed by Jon Hopkins, you can check that artist (Jon Hopkins, I mean) because he has beautiful, instrumental-only songs!. Here's one of them, called Lost In Thought, which is also featured on Coldplay's song from their new album, "Death and All His Friends/Lost In Thought" : http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=77VqzpvE1!.!.!.

Hope that helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com
