Question: How often to do splits!?
i want to be able to do the splits as soon as possible!. should i do them in the morning and at night every day, 3 times a day, the left and right splits in the morning and the middle splits at night, once every day, every other day!?!?!? is it bad for u to do them all the time!? any other good streches u now to help with the splis!?!?

This worked for me:
I used to do each leg for a minute and a half, and the middle for two minutes everyday, best done to music!. Don't stretch too hard or you will hurt yourself, but there should be a little pain so you know you are stretching!. But remember, only do this once a day because when you prepare your body for the split, it creates little tears in your muscles to heal in a more flexible way!. When the tears have healed, you can stretch again, but if they haven't, you just hurt yourself-it doesn't make the goal come any faster!.

The middle split will take the longest, and once you can do the split, make sure you keep it up by sitting in the split for some time each or every other day!.

also, keep in mind that if you want to do the split in a leap for example, that will take more time, because no weight of your body is splitting your legs!.

Stretch, Stretch, Stretch, and Stretch some more!. Then, try your splits!. Its important for you to warm your muslces up so you don't tear or strain them!. As for when to do them, whenever you have the time!. At the minimum probably twice a day-one in the morning when you get up while your muscles are still fresh and before you go to bed while you've stretched your muscles that day!. And if you stretch, no it isn't bad for you to do them!. Just practice, practice, practice and you'll have them in no time!

Ok, I learnt how to do the splits in about 2 months, and all I did was spend about 15 minutes every day STRETCHING!. Stretching is the key to doing the splits!. And whatever you do, don't go straight down without stretching first, coz I once did that and when I got down I tore a muscle in my leg!. Big mistake!. And, don't push yourself to hard!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Probably best to do all of your stretches after you exercise or once they're warm!. Listen to your body, it will tell you if you're warm enough or pushing too hard!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

more important than when to do them is to warm up your muscles before doing them!. Then, just be sure not to over stretch!. your legs will tel you if they are being pushed too hard!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
