Question: How can i do the splits!?
i really want to learn how to do the splits!. one thing though, i'm clueless!. where do i start!? middle splits!?right splits!? left splits!? backw ards splits!?!! i have no idea!. plus, for the stretching, i don't know how either, so please give detailed instructions!. for middle splits i have like 1 foot until i hit the ground!. and how do i do right splits!? left ones!?

Just don't do it the way I did!.!.!.

I was in ballet and could not do the splits!. I was pretty young, but I had a slightly older girl mentoring me!. She told me to go down as far as I could (in the splits), and she grabbed my shoulders and shoved me to the floor!.

It pretty much tore my tendons!.!.!.and probably some other parts I needed!. When I healed, she did it again!. Pure evil!.

A good stretch is to lay on your back, but scoot your butt up to a wall, so your body forms an "L" against it!. With your legs straight up, against the wall, relax and let your legs slowly drop outward!.

Another one, the best, I believe - is to sit on the floor, with your legs straight out in front of you!. Reach for your toes!. Hold the pose for as long as you can holding as far up your legs as possible!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

First start by stretching-Sit on the ground with legs stright bend over to stretch your toes!. Thats only one!. Look up others on the internet!. Then everyday whether its before or after school or dance or any other times of the day!. Just go down as far as you can with a right split!. This could take a few weeks!. but if you do that 2-5 times a day and hold each for about a half of minute then every few days/weeks you'll see you can go down further and further every time!. then eventually in a few weeks you can go down all the way!. Then try the left split and then do all of that for a center split to!. The idea is just like dance routines PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!!!! for me i can only do left splits, so which ever feels the most comfortable start with that
