What is the difference between latin ballroom shoes and standard ballroom shoes?

Question: What is the difference between latin ballroom shoes and standard ballroom shoes!?

Latin shoes have a higher heel, and are often made out of different materials!. Ballroom shoes tend to be made out of that shiny patent stuff whilst latin are generally made out of plain leather!.

You'll feel strange in the Latin shoes!. I don't know how the ladies manage, because even in 1 1/2" Latin heels (compared to the 1" standard heels) I feel like I'm going to topple on my face!. My hat's off to the ladies for dancing in those 2 1/2" and even taller heels!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
