Question: How can you tell if your Gaynor Minden pointe shoes are dead!?

I know that they're not supposed to die, but mine certainly did!. i don't know it if was just my feet getting stronger, or what, but by the time i was done with them i could literally bend them in half easily!. I think they just get all dirty and yucky, even if the shank doesn't die!. ( which i think it does, but I only used them once, so i don't know)Www@QuestionHome@Com

personally i think gaynor mindens look terrible on people feet!.!.anyway!.!.you can tell if the pointe shoe is dead when you roll over alot !.!. and stuff!.!.you can usually tellWww@QuestionHome@Com

It's got nothing to do with tears or rips or the pink colour fading, its just if the shank has snapped or is very weak like an upside down L xWww@QuestionHome@Com

Oh that's easy, If they look super super worn out with lots of tears and rips and they have to be broken in!.
