Because it's ages 9-12, I'm assuming that it won't be too difficult of a class!. Stretches, getting to know the basic moves of jazz, like ball changes, chainè turns, or pivot steps are probably going to be involved!. I'm guessing it won't be very difficult, especially because you've taken jazz before!.

If it is more advanced, maybe stag leaps will be a part of the curriculum!. There will always be some moves you may not be sure of, but ask the teacher! Jazz is a great style of dance, and it's lots of fun!. I hope you have tons of fun! :)

For ballet, the ballet positions will probably be reviewed, with maybe arabesques and jetes (simple versions)!. I'm not so sure about ballet because I myself haven't taken it in a while, but I'm sure you'll be fine!. It will all probably be the same as you had done before, with maybe a few new steps involved!.

Have fun!! :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Jazz- My dance teacher does stretches for about 40 minutes, across the floor for 10, and 10 minute combinations!. During streches, you'll probably do stradles, plies, etc!. Across the floor will be mainly leaps and preps for leaps and maybe some pirouttes and batmas (sp)!.

Ballet- Expect a lot of the bar!. Then some jumps, across the floor, streches, and pirouttes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I don't know anything about jazz!.!.!. but ballet they will most likely go easy on you you're first time!. After a few classes they will correct you more, just remember not to talk in class and always be respectful to the teachers!. It will help!Www@QuestionHome@Com
