Do NOT practice your dancing while wearing ankle weights! This includes drills like leaps and flutters (double ups!?)!. It is added weight that has to be carried by your knees and you can easily injure your knees this way!. Ankle weights should be used for strength exercises where the movement is slow and controlled!.
