Question: Dance Training Help!!!!!?
Okay-Im 13, I have been dancing for 8 years-Lyrical and Jazz!! Recently I have been training for a HUGE competion which is in 6 months and my Training Scheduele is like this
Jogging-4 hours everyday
Gymnastics-2 hours everyday
Dance Theory-Monday, Wednesday, and Sunday
Working Out-5 hours a week
Dance Practice-45 Minutes everyday
Anyways, I'm having trouble keeping up my grades, like I used to have an A+ in Geomerty and now it's a C- and my other subjects are like almost D's!. My mom is an instructor at my studio so she enforces all that ALOT!! I just need help on how to balance my scheduele and my grades and my training!. Anyway that's all!

Thanks A Bunch,

Drop the jogging to 30 minutes 3 times a week (to maintain a healthy heart)!. also drop the gymnastics to a few days a week!. Do you want to be a gymnast or a dancer!? Both are huge commitments!. If you just want to tumble in your dance routines, 2 days a week of gym will keep your back-tuck & aerial skills!. You're trying to do way to much!. Grades are more important than dance!. Your education will support you for the rest of your life, even if you end up a professional dancer, you won't dance forever!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

wow it sound like you have a busy life! the best thing you could do is to make sure you are managing your time as wisely as you can!. So if the dance studio is far or if any of your daily commutes are far do school work in the car, have your mom quiz you on things as you are going there!. If your grades are suffering you might want to cut down on your dance practice time and make one longer and one day shorter to give you more time!. Anyways I hope this helps!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i hate to say it but unless you can do your work really fast or get a tutor you might have to cut down on one of those thingsWww@QuestionHome@Com
