if you work on your flexibility every day it will get better,
you could also get private lessons with your instructor to help you!.
most places have classes that you can take with people in your age group, and if they dont then you might have to take a class with 5 year olds but it will probably encourage you to get better faster so thats a plus, or if your in a teen class thats just for fun you could do the same things that they do just take it more seriously and practice more of it at home

when you are stretching make sure that your not pushing to hard or you could damage your muscles because there not used to it!. go slow and work your way up to however flexible you would like to be =] good luck Www@QuestionHome@Com

They should have different levels, and there should be a beginners for teens!. Like everybody has already said, start stretching everyday!. Work on splits and leg muscles, but you have to do it every day!. And ballet is not just flexibility, you also have to learnd turning techniques and leaping (splits are a major part of your leaps)!. I would say start dance classes and just have fun with it!! Good Luck!! Www@QuestionHome@Com

its ok that ur not flexible and that u've never danced b4, u will just have to work harder than the other girls and stretch and practice a lot!. btw jazz and hiphop r more fun! but i like ballet 2 its really pretty!. and dont get discouraged if the other grils r better than u, if u work hard u will get to their level soon enough!. and its called dance practice not dance perfect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Most places do mixed-age classes, but you can probably find one close to you that does it by age!. In addition to ballet, there are classes you can take in technique and stretching, so you can advance faster!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Flexibility can be gained!. Just join a class!. You might have to deal with a different age group, but if you really wanted it shouldn't matter!. You could probably find a reasonable class anyway!. just look around, search it online etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

its ok if ya have any friends that r dancers get lessons with the basic positions and steps that will really help and u can also get private training lessons if u want pro helpWww@QuestionHome@Com

start by stretching every day!.!.it doesn't matter if your flexible!.!.i got girls in my 13 year old class who are not flexable at all! good luckWww@QuestionHome@Com

Why do you join classes!?
To learn, so you'll learn to be more flexible!
You'll learn fine, there will be plenty of other people with the same problem in your area!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

stretch ore and eat healthy and you will be flexible but you don't have to be flexible to become a ballerina!Www@QuestionHome@Com
