Question: If I was to go to a college like Juilliard!?
Or just any school that focused on Dancing (and or other arts such as acting or music) do they make you take Math, Science, English (etc) classes too!?

I know other colleges do, like if you're majoring in Music Theory (for example) they still make you take those classes, but does Juilliard or other dance oriented schools!?

Thanks to anyone who helps me with this, I'd really like to know!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Julliard is a conservatory school, which means most of your classes would be in dance (or the fine art of your choice)!. You would likely take dance classes in the morning, take a few academic classes in the afternoon, and have more dance classes and rehearsals at night!. In a conservatory, the basis of the classes is in your major!. However, you are still required to take core academic classes (math, science, english, history)!.

If you want to dance, but would like a little more academics, I suggest looking into a liberal arts school!. Aside from dance classes, a liberal arts education offers a broad look at all academic subjects!. In this atmosphere, you wouldn't be taking technique classes from 9-5!. However, you still get plenty of time to dance if you are involved in productions!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
