2...After competitio

Question: My daughter has been in ballet, jazz,hiphop , tap since 2 1/2!.!.!.After competition , what next!?

she is 11, (12 in December) and already, they have her helping teach others!. She also is talented and straight Aplus student, taking 10th grade algebra and tutors young kids!. She wants to take college to learn dance (degree) does any Dance teachers know where to send her/ what to look into !? is it the Performing Arts degree!? what!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

God Bless Her!. She is a special child!. You must also be a wonderful parent!. 10th grade algebra and she is 11!. That is awesome!. I would go talk to a college near you!. Go to the administration office and let them get you an appt with Performing Arts Dept Professor!. Take her grades and letter of recommendation from teacher she helps!. She sounds like a real sharp girl!. Maybe it is a little young now to be thinking of college, but do you have some theatre groups in your area where she could actually get some experience in performing arts!. Maybe a musical production of some kind!.

No, I am not a dance teacher, but I love to see children excell and strive to do better!. Other alternative would be to look at some of the performing arts high schools, where she could get more training in her field and also be exposed to some other performing arts!.
