Question: Is Boston Ballet's "The nutcracker" worth the money!?

I'm thinking of getting tickets to see the show for my mom for christmas (we're both dancers) but they are pretty expensive!. I really want to see it, and i'm sure its amazing, but do you think i should spend over 80 dollars for us to see it!? The deadline to buy the tickets is in a couple days so i really need to make my decision soon!. Thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Boston Ballet is a wonderful company!. As a dancer, I'm sure you will appreciate the companies excellent technique and choreography!. That said, the Nutcracker doesn't change much from year to year!. For some people it's an annual thing, for others they could see it once and be set!. It kind of depends on your preference!. Eighty bucks isn't bad for a notable company!. I will be shelling out significantly more for San Francisco's production!. If you are worried about price, especially in New England, there are a variety of smaller companies that do the Nutcracker for less!. Look for their guest artists to be from a prominent ballet company, and you shouldn't be dissapointed!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

yes definitely, the boston ballet has some amazing dancers in it!.
one of them, paul thrussel, was hired to dance with our dance school, he was amazing!

I love it:) I live right down the street from the Wang Theatre where they perform!. I had season tickets last year!. They are fantastic dancers!. Makes me miss doing pointe:(
