Question: Backbend help!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!?
how long does it take to be able to do a backbend
cuz i have been trying since the being of october and still cant do it on my own
i do several ones everyday on the wall
and i stretch everyday
and sometimes ppl hold me and try to help me but every time i go down i fall
but i have seen improvement on the ones i do on the wall
i only need to touch the wall once now
i used to need it like 5 times
but what else do i need to do to be able to do one myself
any more stretches i should practice doing to help me
i dont know what the problem is though
i just keep falling

okay, so stand with your feet shoulder width apart and your arms locked out straight above your head beside your ears!. MAKE SURE when you start to bend backwards you look at the ground and keep your arms locked so they won't buckle!. if that's too advanced place your hand on your lower back and bend back as far as possible THE KEY IS TO LOOK AT THE GROUND where you're going!. so with your hands on your back bending backwards once you can't bend back any further put your LOCKED arms on the ground!.

Work up to the normal backbend by placing one arm on the ground (looking so you don't fall) before placing your other arm on the ground!. Once you get good at this (and you can stand back up), then go for the regular backbend, with two arms going down at the same time, no arm help coming up!. Good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would use a spotter!. Focus!. Take both your hands and place them in the triangle shape and use that to focus with!. Put your arms over your head while looking at your triangle!. Keep your eyes on your hands!. Start to separate your hands and place them on the floor!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
