I know it's probably called "Rhythm," but does anyone know who sings it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The song is simply "Rhythm" off of Casey MacGill's Album "Jump"!. It's track #2:
http://www!.amazon!.com/JUMP-Casey-Macgill!.!.!.

Would you also be interested in the original song that Frankie Manning and Whitey's Lindy Hoppers originally performed the Big Apple too!? The Soloman Douglas Swingtet recorded a recreation of the song on their debut album!. The track is "The Big Apple Contest" and you can find it here:

Other songs I've done the Big Apple to:

Jeep Jockey Jump (Bill Elliot Swing Orchestra Version)
Flying Home (any version)
Man From Mars (by Artie Shaw)

I hope that helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com

It really depends on where you are!. Any song could be used and often is, but many dance groups choose a particular song for their own version!. Best to ask one of the group!.
The first one that comes to mind from your clue is "Rhythm is Our Thing" - originally by The Treneires, but rerecorded by many others!. Without hearing the song, just can't tell, but type in Trenieres on Amazon!.com or Allmusic and you'll probably get lucky!Www@QuestionHome@Com
