However, I'm a little confused on exactly what it is!. So, can someone please give me some information on lyrical dancing and what it's about!? Many thanks!Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: lyrical dancing is usually a very slow and emotional contemporary/modern ballet thing, similar to neo classical!. basically ballet with a modern twist and a TON of emotion!. watch so you think you can dance - the american series, there's lots of lyrical dance i think it's the best genre of dance because it so full of emotion, and it really gets the audience going!. Best done with a partner!. ummm lyrical is usually slower, with more ballet technique moves, whilst modern is all new movment and can be anything really, literally ANY MOVEMENT!. and can be any speed with any number of people!. hope this helps!Www@QuestionHome@Com try this link to you tube i just typed in lyrical dancing http://www!.youtube!.com/results!?search_qu!.!.!. look up the following studios or dancers on you tube dance precisions just plain dancin paula van oppen----she is amazing watch the video called with or without you!!!! also check out this site www!.halloffamedance!.com you can watch the high point video award winners!.
