Question: I take a dance class on weekdays in the evening and my parents won't let me quit!. How should I tell them!?
My grades are starting to drop because I can't get my studying in and I can never finish my homework because the class goes so late!. What should I do and how should I tell my parents I don't want to do it anymore!. I've tried before but they won't listen!Www@QuestionHome@Com

You have to insist that your grades and how you study are much more important than dancing, how are you supposed to get a good career if you don't get new levels, and dancing jobs are not that many!.
Or how about negotiating with your dancing teacher that you can do private lessons at an earlier time, so you can dance and study, I'm sure your dancing teacher will understand!. also tell your parents how important it is that homework should be given in!. Tell them that you need good grades!. Even though I take ballet lessons myself, I still think that grades are more important!. I wish you good luck! =)Www@QuestionHome@Com

Tell your parents (make sure it's at a convenient time for them!.!.!.and make sure they're not angry or something) that you would like to drop your weekday classes because you're concerned about your grades!. If you don't plan on pursuing any career that requires dancing and you don't enjoy it, it really should be put second to schooling anyway!. Make sure not to complain too much, use facts and logic!. Make sure they know you're serious about quitting the class and that you really are genuinely concerned about your grades!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
