RELEVES!!! in coupe!! on two feet on one foot on flat in your pointe shoes EVERY WHERE!! this will strenghten ankles and feet!! also thero bands are amazing!! another good excersice is to do foutes and pirouttes at the bar~!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

focus on ankles and calves at the barre!.!.!.a lot of rolling to full pointe from demi pointe!. go to the floor as well!. the difference of going from technique to pointe dancing will throw off your equilibrium, and make sure you are finding the difference in your body and adjusting your weight to ensure you won't fall on your face! crunches and supermans for that (lay on the floor on your stomach and lift your arms and legs off the ground for 10 seconds, alternating to also target your lat muscles i!.e!. left leg righ arm and vice versa)

also try planks: it's basically the push-up position but your arms rest on the elbows with your hands clasped in front!. hold those for 30 seconds at a time with a rep of 3 or 4, depending on how many you can do!.

it's also really important that you are breaking in your shoes properly!. the shank (or arch) in news shoes is stiff, making it harder to roll into full pointe!. any chance you get when you're eatching tv or whatever, take the heel of the shoe in one hand and the box in the other and bend them back and forth to soften the shank!.
