Position:Home>Dancing> Im going to my first dance. any suggestions?Question: Im going to my first dance!. any suggestions!? ok so my first dance is comming up on the 30th!. i hav no idea what to do!! there id gna b a dancing area in the MPR, a haunted house in the P!.E!. area, and there are gna b carnival themed games in the quad area!. im going with my friend!. i dont kno what to do!!!! i kno im gna dance, but what if a slow song comes on and a guy asks me 2 dance!?!?!? what should i do!?!!?!!?!!?!!?

Ask what everybody else is wearing, like if it's going to be dressy or not or if people are dressing up for halloween!. Dance in a circle with your girl friends, and if a guy asks you, it's pretty rude to say no!. It takes a lot of courage and it's just one dance, so even if you don't like him I think you should put up with him!. Wear perfume if you have any!. If you dance with a guy, put your arms up on his shoulders around his neck and he will put his arms around your waist and just shift your weight back and forth between your feet, and you don't necessarily need to be in time with the music, you normally won't be when your slow dancing!. But yea, if a guy asks you to dance then dance with him!. It's not as awkward as you think it'll be!. PS: How old are you!?Www@QuestionHome@Com The basic first dance move is to just put your hands on his shoulders or around his neck and keep about a foot apart and just sway back and forth, IE shift your weight from one foot to the other and no talking!. Or If you totally dig the guy hold him all close and do the same sway thing and wear some good perfume!. If he tries to grab anything of yours, knee him in the junk!.
