Thanks =)Www@QuestionHome@Com Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: well i'm 14!. i just started dancing about 2 months ago!. i was taking a jazz/hip hop class, but i didn't like it!. so i switch into a turns and technique class hoping that i could learn the same thing as in jazz!. because i want to be able to take lyrical (which is just like contemporary) but i have to be an intermediate dancer!. they won't let you on if your not!. and they are really good! so i think you should try taking jazz or ballet first!. so you can learn your turns and jumps and stuff like that!. have fun and good luck! :DWww@QuestionHome@Com NO!!! I actually quit dance just this year and i am 12 ok so i quite dance and you want to start but my point is that i am 12 and you are 13 you can totally start dance and I started with jazz and then i did jazz and Lyrical(my favorite dance) or you could do hip hop but the main thing is, is that If I were you I would take jazz even if you want to move onto a higher level of dance!.!.:) I hoped i helped Www@QuestionHome@Com Contemporary is hard, ecpesually when you haven't danced before!. NO its not to late to start but maybe try jazz and modern and ballet before Contemporary as that's a mix of all of those types of dance!. If you do ballet you can defiantly do anything else, try other dances fro a couple of terms and then go on to Contemporary, its really great but hard!. good luck hope you make the right choise hannah xx Www@QuestionHome@Com no no no!! it is not too late to start :) i would suggest taking either ballet or jazz just so you can get the technique!. i pretty much started dancing when i was 13 too and i am SOOO glad i did!. its the best thing ever :) so ya, um just take some kind of technique class along with the contemporary/modernWww@QuestionHome@Com I didnt try ballet when i was 4!.!.i did it when i was 21 and loved it!. 13 is such a young age!. THey have begginers classes for all levels!. You should try dancing to music that you love!. So if you love jazz then yes start with jazz!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Modern is the easiest to catch on to!. I personally wouldn't suggest started jazz first from your background!. But Modern would be fun! Www@QuestionHome@Com |
