Question: How can i become a better Cheerleader!?
My moves need to be tighter, how can i do that!?
How can i learn a Backhandspring!? (im in Gymnastics)
Wat else do i need to do!?

I smile, and do Facial!.!.!.!.I know the moves!.!.!. ECT! but i wanna get SUPERR GOOD!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Backhandspring- Hopefully in your gymnastics class they will teach you!.
If not, you need to get someone else and get in the position
of a bridge!. Have someone hold your back!. Flip your legs over your
head, and thats a start!. Then you will need to practice doing it with
standing up!.

Tigher Moves- Practice yoga!. It will relax your body and you can focus more on the moves!. Practice keeping your legs, arms, etc tight against your body!. Ask your coach for help also!.

haha i was in the same situation!.
i actually taught myself how to do a back handspring!. :D

start out with some back stretches!.
lay on your stomach and put your hands by your shoulders like you're going to do a push up!.
then (leaving your legs on the ground) push the top part of your body up so it looks like you're sitting, but backwards!.
then put your head back as far as it will go!.

practice doing bridges without falling into them!.
when you feel comfortable enough, try walking down a wall into a bridge!.
when you can do this easily, try falling back into one by yourself!.
as soon as you can do this, try kicking your legs over your head!.
like a back walkover basically!.

when you can do this in one fluid motion, and you feel comfortable, put a slight jump into your walkover!.
keep doing this over and over again, jumping a little higher each time!.
you should pretty much be able to do a back handspring by now!.

i recommend using a spotter to hold you back up though when you start jumping!.
then slowly do it by yourself!.
because i don't want you to hurt yourself!
and make sure you stretch EVERY DAY!

as for the tighter moves!.!.!.
think BOOM every time you hit a move!.
like put your arm to the side quickly and stop it fast and think BOOM!
straighten your arms and legs and don't bend them unless you're supposed to!.

most importantly, show a lot of energy!

Awww man 1st things 1st!. When ur out there cheering on, please PLEASE show energy!. I've gone to football games and the "cheer" leaders are all like dead!. So yeah bring energy to the game =)

As for ur other question my best sugestion is to just keep on practiceing!. I'm not a girl or anything but I do know that practice makwes best!!! Www@QuestionHome@Com
