ok- this may sound corny but just go somewhere where u can be alone (with a resonable amount of space) and play ur favorite music!. if u just express urself nd try to imitate wat others do at school dances, u'll probly be fine!. in my opinion, there's no wrong of right way to dance!. It's just something that comes naturally nd is different for everyone!. i went to a dance last night (80's themed!. pretty lame!.!.!.) nd the people who looked the best nd nd most natural were the ones who seemed confident in wat they were doing!. anyway, that's just a suggestion!. i hav a friend who always says shes a horrible dancer nd at every dance she just bounces up nd down nd looks fine!. if all else fails, just do that!. bounce!. u'll blend in w/ everyone else!. nd watever u do, dont just giv up nd skip dances all together!!! dances r soooooo fun!!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Dancing can happen anywhere you feel like it!. I used to like to dance in supermarkets when the music was right and I was with the right friends to embarrass!.

But learning to dance is probably best done with your friends at parties when not at class!. You can even dance with your family, if you think that would help!. Having a big empty room with a mirror helps if you are learning by yourself off of videos or books!.

Look also into your local school events and ask teachers if they know of places where you can learn to dance!. Try the gym & YMCA, too!. Or ask your librarian about it!.

I don't know how to dance either, but all these options are available to me, but your town may not have dances like mine!.
