Question: Whats with people who dont get irish dancing!?
i think its amazing but i dont get people who dont know the difference between riverdance and lord of the dance (two amazing shows btw) and people who dont get why they put their hands by their sides, i think it actually looks better than throwing your arms around everywhere like a lunatic!. At least people who watch can concentrate on their feet which is like the best thing about any dance anyway!. Who agrees !?who thinks irish dance is the greatest thing ever and who thinks its a load of rubbish!. !? Www@QuestionHome@Com

The Irish had to dance with their arms down b/c English invaders didn't let them have any of their own culture, they outlawed Irish dance, music, even the Irish language!. So, the dances were developed in secret!. Most of the movements occur lower, where they could not be seen through windows or the top halves of doors!. Irish dance is a symbol of Irish freedom!. It is a symbol of a culture that survived persecution!. It's beautiful!. I personally, don't have a lot of experience with Irish dance, but I am a tap dancer!. Tap dance was created out a fusion of African rhythms and dances with Irish influences!. I love to be a part of this beautiful evolution!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
irish dancing is a bit!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.primitive!. i know its hard work (i used to be an irish dancer) but for the audience it just looks like hopping around
