Question: What's the point of dancing with the stars!?

like i thought it was a celeb dancing with a person!.
and if they win they get help with stuff!.
for ecample; another show [spanish] has a celebrity dance with a person who needs money [like they are in poverty and shxt] and if they win they get help as in 10,00 $ !.
but i saw cody linley && hat contry singer wannabe, and hats not helping anyone!. they are fine!.

I think that, like any tv show, the point is to entertain the public!. also the show exposes the variety of ballroom dancing styles that otherwise go under the radar!. With the hip hop fad taking over the country, this show demonstrates some of the more classical dance styles as well as some fun variations!. And they try to pick people that will attract multiple age groups!. Such as: olympiads will attract athletes, cody linley will attract the younger kids, kim kardashian will attract women, lance bass will attract 90s kids, warren snapp will attract men/football fans, and the actors/actresses will attract all ages!. So really the point is just to entertain and expose!. If any money goes to charity, it is not the focus of the show!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The point of Dancing wiht the stars is to entertain the watchers to see some of you favorie actors, actoresses, olimpians, singers, ect!. to dance with amasing profecinal dancers!. In the end who ever wins gets a ballroom trophy and i think like 5,000 dollars!.!.!.!. i think!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

it makes us old people happy to see other old people dance around like idiots!. Its entertainment and does not need any redeeming value!. Did Saved by the Bell or Family Guy or The Jonas Brothers have any redeeming value!? no, they just make someone happy out there in tv land!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
