Question: Do you think when a boy asks you to dance and you say no is that sad!?

Today I went to my school dance and there was this boy who asked me to dance!.I di d not want to dance so I told him no!. Later on he was sad!. So just danced with him!. Do you think what I did was rood at first/Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, it wasn't rude, unless you said it in a mean way!.

A simple "No, thank you" or "No, I don't really want to dance, but thanks for asking!" will work just fine!.

Remember that other people are capable of handling their own feelings!. You don't have to do something just because someone asks you to do it, out of fear of hurting their feelings!. What you want and don't want is just as important as what the other person wants!Www@QuestionHome@Com

i think you should have let him down slowly!. like maybe just say, umm sorry but i am a really bad dancer so i met step on your feet!. or "im kinda just hanging out so maybe next dance!?
anyways don't worry just apologize to him saying" im sorry if i hurt your feelings" if its a boy you like then just say wanna dance next time!?

You weren't rude!. I would rather a girl be honest in her response to me asking to dance!. If she doesn't want to fine, but its even worse if she dances with me out of pity!. Just be polite when you say no and leave him to handle his own feelings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
