* If you havent sewn the ribbons on your shoes, divide them in fours sew them on your shoes tie them and then if you have extra cut some off!.

*If the ends start to fray either burn them, or I personally like to add alittle clear nail polish to the ends!.

* If you find them sliping off your heels, get alittle spray bottle put water in it and do a little squirt on your tights and it should stick!.

* For the previous one, do not get anything else wet, for example the box, if you get that wet it will ruin in!.

* The best way to break in your shoes is to wear them around, and if you dont want to get them dirty while wearing them around your house get like a pair of socks and put them over your shoes!.

* Tie your ribbons on the inside of your heels

*After dancing in your shoes when you get home take them out of your dance bag and leave them out, so they can dry out and it will have them last longer!. If you keep them in a mesh bag than you can leave them in that!. Anything that lets air get to them!.

* If your feet hurt you can soak them in warm water and epson salt

* In your dance bag make sure you have band aids, gauze, maybe some neosporin or something like that!.

* You could buy moleskin which is helpful for healing blisters and preventing them!.

* Make sure to wash your toe pads every once in a while because toe pads and pointe shoes are a breeding ground for bacteria!. also dont let anyone try on your pointe shoes again because of bacteria, and dont put anyones pointe shoes on!.

* If you have any other questions than you can ask your teacher!. For example breaking in your shoes, besides wearing them around your house your teacher might have another way she likes to break them in!.

1!. after youve cut your ballet ribbons to size give them enough room to tie up and burn the edges
2!. you will need to break your pointes in so just walk around on demi-point for a week whislt wearing them
3!. take them off at night other wise they will hurt in the morning
4!. if you want to keep them clean whislt breaking them in you can put ski socks or football socks on them
5!. if they're not saying on your feet you may want to consider stirups(bit of ribbon looped at the back of the shoe which you feed the ribbons on the shoe throw for extra surport)
6!. what ever you do dont try and go up straight away unless your teacher is there to assist you
