mixers? Please help me!?

Question: How to dance at Highschool dances/mixers!? Please help me!!?

I know this question sounds really stupid and i'm sure people are going to say it too!.
I'm in 10th grade in highschool and whenever my school has mixers im not sure how to dance!.
I can slow dance and all but thats about it!.
Please dont tell me just go with the music because that doesn't really help me much

Don't feel bad! I have felt the exact same way you do now in the past, but now, I'm definitely the best dancer at the high school! If you've managed to learn how to slow dance, I congratulate you; that stuff is waay harder than it looks! If you want to learn how to dance to more modern music, I suggest you watch music videos of the songs you'd like to learn the dance to; that's exactly how I learned!. Each song has its own unique dance moves, and once you pick these up, people will begin to notice! I suggest watching the music videos for these songs, because they are very popular and often played at high school dances;

Walk it out - unk
Swing - savage
Cyclone - baby bash
2 step - unk
Get low - flo rida
Low - tpain
Jump on it - sir mix-a-lot
In the ayer - flo rida
Forever - chris brown

if you've never been to a dance before, be warned, a lot of the times people grind!. if you're not comfortable with grinding, you can do the ever classic step touch!. it sounds really lame, but if you put a little, i don't know, jazz into it, it seems a lot better!. i know you don't want to hear this, but the honest answer is to find the beat in the music and try to come up with a clever dance move to go along with it!. you're probably a better dancer then you think!.!.!. good luck :) Www@QuestionHome@Com
