Question:

I want to become a dancer when I'm eighteen!.
I'm fifteen right now, which means I only have three more years to go!.
I live in New York, about 30 minutes away from Manhatten!.
My question is that since I want to become a dancer, should I go to California or stay in New York!?
I've heard that there's more opportunities in California for hip hop dancers!.
And I also know that dance classes are better there!.
But there's also some good opportunities in New York!.

New York!! That's where the majority of arts opportunities are!. There are lots of hip hop troups all over the country, though, so if you wanted a change of scenery, you could go to Cali!. But I'd suggest that, if you work in New York and get offered a good enough job in California, then make the move!. Otherwise, stay put! Trust me!. You're lucky to be so close to NYC!. New York is definitely the place to dance!. There are so many opportunities for dancers, and so many of dance greats teach and perform in the city it is a no-brainer!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

New York has lots of opportunities for basically every type of dance EXCEPT hip hop!. Hip hoppers come from all over but if you do come to Cal!. you should check out Dixon Dance Studio!. They rock!. They're located in Dixon!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
