My daughter has been dancing for this studio since she was 5 and she is now10!. Its a small studio, and she on the competition team!. The owner is older and doesnt even know my daughters talents or what show group she's in!. Granted she isnt the teacher but she was trying to reorganize a solo/duet list and put my daughter with a secondary teacher versus the one she is already been signed up 3rd on the list for!. What is going on here!. I told them my daughter is an excellent dancer and I didnt appreciate that she's was being pushed aside!. Especially when she was 3rd on the list one of th 1st ones to be signed up!. I asked what were they trying to make room for!. They assumed Amy might be too busy and since the other teacher was freed up with some more time they thought my daughter might want to go there!. I asked why my daughter!?!?!? Then they didnt even remember or know how good of a dancer she is!. I was insulted and got a little emotional!. See I am busy so I dont network there, because I am not there for me, its for her, so I dont put my daughter on a pedestal to be noticed, but the teacher knows how good Alexandra is and recognizes her!. I dont know what to do!.
I was wondering what your thoughts were on this!? What I should do!? Did I look stupid by speaking up for myself!?
