try spotting either into the mirror, or at something on the wall!. make sure you get a good plie too!. don't put too much force into it or else you'll just end up knocking your self over!. don't ever wind up for it either because that's not how you are supposed to dance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You should probably practice these in a full length mirror!. First, just look at your head in the mirror!. Make your legs into a plie, and first do a balanced posse!. Then plie, add a turn!. Then plie, add a double turn!. That's what my jazz teacher makes us do, and it really helps! Now I can do a double turn as easy as a single turn!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I had trouble with doubles too!. Before you start do preps by bringing your foot up, holding your arms out, and keeping your hips parralell with the mirror!.FOCUS and spin!. Remember to keep all your body weight up!.when you spin dont back out keep going!. Lasly, PRACTICE!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Spot yourself in a mirror!. If you don't have access to a mirror, pick a spot on the wall and turn your head back to it each time!. Doubles will take a little bit to get, but if you spot it should be a little easier!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Make sure you spot yourself (if you have a mirror, look into your eyes), whip your arm in place for momentum, and shift all of your weight onto your supporting leg!. Sometimes it just takes a while, good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

I am having trouble with doubles too, I find thinking of your bottom tucking under and you pulling up helps me!!Www@QuestionHome@Com
