keep ribbons from getting wrinkled?

Question: How to fold pointe shoes/keep ribbons from getting wrinkled!?

To keep pointe shoes ribbons from wrinkling: Fold the part that covers the heel in, and fold the sides of the shoe on top of that and wrap the ribbons tightly around the shoe!. I read this off of a web site and I have no idea what they are talking about, so please help!!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

OK, you know how you or your teacher folded the heel to show where to put the ribbons!? You fold it like that, then there will be parts that stick out at the sides of the shoe at the back, you fold those in to the folded down heel so that nothing is sticking out!. Then you just take your ribbons, they should both be facing the same way, you just wrap them around the back of the shoe until they cannot wrap any more, then you fold them into themselves, the part that you have already wrapped, and there you go!
