To go en pointe you need 3-5 years of ballet training at the minimum!.

It sounds like you are very committed and ready for the resposibility though!. Maybe try to do one more class a week, you will get en pointe quicker if you take more classes per week!. Just don't make yourself so busy you can't do anything else like homework though!

Having the flexibility this early is good!. Get all of your splits, and perfect your leaps/jumps!. To go en pointe you need to have amazing demi footwork!. Try buying or making a ballet barre in your house somewhere so you can practise at home!

The good pointe and arch of your foot as you said, will help you a lot!. It makes pointe easier in my mind, but you will go through shoes quicker because of it!.

Just keep working at it, and strengthen your ankles a lot (email me for some ankle strengthening exercises)!. After 3-5 years talk to your teacher and have her 'test' you to see if you are ready!.

And remember, just because you have good feet doesn't mean you can just hope onto pointe!. Make sure your teacher says it's ok and when it's time, get professionally fitted at a dance store for your pointes!.

Good luck, have a nice day!!

It really depends on your ballet technique and your ankle strength!. There isnt really a set number of years!. I started ballet 2 years ago and last year i started pointe, for me it only took one year, and i was only 14 too!. You can try asking your teacher how long it will take, she is the only one that will know, or could estimate!. Good luckk!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

A long time!.
Don't expect that you're getting onto them soon!.
I am a "newbie" at ballet at my studio for only have been doing ballet for two years!.!.!. It will depend on how serious your studio is!.!.!.
But for me,
I'm expecting at least two more years!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

a longggg time!.
i started when i was three and got en-pointe when i was 11 !. you'll know you're near pinte when you start pre-pointe!.
these are specialized classes that are kind of like pointe, but are on 3/4 pointe, instead of full pointe!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Years!. You wont start pointe right after you start dance, i have danced since 4, and i am not on pointe yet!.!.!.!. Maby next year, but NO WAY you are starting so soon!.!.!.!.!. Try asking if you can get soft blocks!.!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
