Question: So i am flat in right and left splits, but have bad turnout and am nowhere near in second splits!.!. HELP!!!!?
am flat on both r and left but am nowhere near down in 2nd splits

i dance about 6 hours a week and have been dancing for 10 years but have never gotten any better or further down!.

does anyone know why this would be or have excercises to help!?!?

Hi,
I've been dancing since i was 3 and lost my side splits a few years ago!. I then practised doing splits but leaning forward onto my elbow and flat of my arm!.Then you should have you bum off the floor and gravity will help strech your inner thighs!. If you practise this for a minute a day ( or maybe less depending on your pain threshold) you should eventually get into side splits!. For a lower pain excercise you could put your legs in a diamond shape; feet together sat on the floor hands supporting you and pull feet open (still bent) till you can feel a pull carry on doing this for a few weeks and hopefully you will be able to get your legs 90 degrees to your hips ( splits)!.

Remember to always warm your muscles and don't over do it or repeat this excercise to much :)

Maybe you should try other leg stretches like this thing called arm and leg stretch you grab one of your feet and bring it out to the other side of you and try to get it straight!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
