I had the same problem as you a while ago, and I went to a physio!. I'll try to tell you what she told me, but you should see one anyway:

Firstly, you probably shouldn't do pointe work while you have sickled feet, as you can very easily strain and break your ankle!. This, you really need to go to a physio for!.

Secondly, not being able to get flat on the platform of your shoe just means that you need to make the arch in your foot bigger!. The arch is the curve on the inside of your foot when it is pointed!.
Don't worry, very few people have a natural arch, and having an over arch is much harder to fix than an non-existent arch!.

To improve your arch it will take time and lots of stretching!. Try "walking through" your feet when you rise, and doing lots of excersizes where you slowly go up and down from flat, to demi, then to full point!. (doing this in pointe shoes softens them up very nicely!)

here's one example: http://au!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=bbDrJHItcE!.!.!.

Hope I could help,

Perhaps see a podiatrist and/or physio for some exercises to strengthen your ankles and try to correct the sickle feet!. I took my daughter to a podiatrist when she was little to help correct rolling ankles and he had loads of exercises she could do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Just work on it more!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
