when you do a coupe turn, do you go on releve!?

yes, pirouttes do not happen unless they are on releve!.

chaine turns are never done flat in ballet!. They're only flat if they're in plie, in a jazz class or something of the sort!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

You usually do, as with any turn!. When your coupe foot comes down though, it's flat and you're in a plie!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
