Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Easy, buy the ribbons that you would at for pointe shoes, (they should be separate from the pointe shoes) then sow them on both sides (one on each side) like you would with pointe shoes but make sure you still have the elastic on your ballet shoes so they won't come off!. also to make the really cool if if you used can-vised ballet shoes instead of leather, they would look a lto better!. Well hope you enjoy your shoes using this advise! Www@QuestionHome@Com If you'd like, you can! Just take two strips of ribbon, place one end of each right next to (not on top of) the two spots the elastic is sewn in the shoe!. You'll want to make sure you sew them into the inside part of the shoe; sew it on the outside and it'll look a bit tacky!. Then slip on the shoe, cross the ribbons across the ankle, wrap it around back and front, tie it on the inner side of your foot (tying it directly on the back can hurt your Achilles' tendon), and dance away!Www@QuestionHome@Com Depends on you teacher and school rules, some schools it is compulsory for ribbons, some schools it is not!. I'm pretty sure you get different ribbons for flats, they are thinner than pointe shoe ribbons, you just get them from dance shops!. : )Www@QuestionHome@Com In my dance studio we always put ribbons on our soft ballet shoes! Its very pretty and I've also seen many other girls from different studios do it too!Www@QuestionHome@Com Definitely!. Infact, some schools require ribbons on soft shoes! I've danced at many schools and I remember one required us to have ribbons sewn on!.Www@QuestionHome@Com hell yeah! if you do it, it'll be COOLDOM!Www@QuestionHome@Com |
