I am wondering whats the opinion on guys doing ballet

I go to a studio with a lot of guys doing ballet!. I believe that a!. it is a great way to meet knew people in general, b!. if you play sports it will give you a better sense of balance and help you to channel your energy inward, and c!. studios are always looking for more male dancers for partnering in ballet and ballroom classes!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Many people view Ballet as a something feminine and while there are both homosexual and straight people of both sexes that dance, it does take someone who is very light on their feet and very agile and in any case, if that's what you enjoy, GO FOR IT!!! It's great exercise!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Umm!.!.!.Well if he can't dance properly he would be laughed out of there!. Otherwise I've never dated anyone I had to dance w/, for a committed dancer it isn't a good idea, and we know that!. My friend Wes and I have danced together our entire lives, and he gets a lot of tail from girls who aren't dancers, they love how he well he dance!. So it does work, just not w/ other dancers!. I love a guy that knows how to move, and it is always great to see a guy in the class, we need someone to lift us!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Here is a great answer from a great male dancer, Sacsha Redetsky from "Center Stage"!. Even though the movie was campy and silly, he has a great career as a dancer and wrote a nice piece for Newsweek about being a male dancer!.

Yeah!. It would be!.!.!.Kinda like French!.!.!.the REALLY smart guys forego the stereotypes, and figure they're going to be the only guys in the class, and they get to really know the girls, and meet the ones they might wind up dating!.!.!.!.good plan if you ask me!

sure its different but a girl will think that it takes courage to have a guy take dance classes especially ballet since its the most girly one!. i take ballet and jazz classes at southland ballet academy and there is like only 2 guys it must take courageWww@QuestionHome@Com

I think it's HOT when guys ballet dance!. It's so sweet and it's probably a good way to find yourself a friend girl:) so don't sweat it if ur guy friends don't like it if you ballet!. They're just jealous because their not good dancers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
