Question: Dance CLASS! I NEED HELP!!?
ok so yesterday i asked my mom about the gymnastics thing :((((((( it broke my heart!. :(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((!.!.!. instead she said that i couldnt do it!. :''''''''''''''''''( i reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeealll!.!.!. wanted to do it and she said that im not flexible like i was when i was a kid!. and i know that and i really want to try my best and idk if shell let me!. NO! she says she doesnt want me to take gymnastics! :'( and now she says instead tthat i should consider dance class!. :( i wanna look at least to see what its like on the internet! do any of you guys take dance class or anything like that!? what type of dance and also!.!.!. can anyone find a good list of ALL the possible dance types to choose from!?

Ok, just so you know, you shouldn't take up dance just as a replacement for gymnastics!. In fact, in some ways, ballet is HARDER than gymnastics!. Ballet is OnE oF tHe MoSt mentally and physically challenging sports there are (and yes, it is a sport)!.
Sorry I just wanted to get that out!.

If you're doing dance - whatever dance you end up doing - you should start out taking ballet!. Not only is it hard, but it's also the basis for almost every dance out there! (yes, even hip-hop)!. Ballet's also my favorite!.

But be forewarned, if you want to go anywhere with any type of dance you're going to have to work hard, really hard!. I sometimes come home so sore the next day I have trouble staying on my feet! Yeah, it's hard work!. You've got to push yourself and push yourself just so you can get even a fraction of an inch lower in your splits, or one extra pirouette!. But don't take all my "practice, practice, practice" spiel as me saying that it's not fun!. It is, it's my life and I love it!. It's very fun and very rewarding!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

right now i take dance and i do ballet, jazz, modern, hip-hop, and we dance to practically any songs!. i have been taking it for about 5 years now; and i love it!. once you start dance, you will get flexible, stronger, more athletic and everything!. alot of people dont realize how strong you get being a dancer!. but i promise you, once you take dance you will love it! and then when you take dance, you will get stronger and more flexible so there will be a greater chance of you getting into the gymnastics like you wanted!.

I take ballet/pointe, tap and belly dancing!.
I have taken jazz, erotic dancing, and gymnastics in the past!.
And I plan to one day take ballroom dancing!.

My favorite is ballet!.
But each of those are really fun! And a great work out!

the only dance that includes streaches and flexibility is balle and jazz if u try hard and do it very well u get flexible!.!.!.!.!.!.a lot!.!.!.!.!.!.i tell u this cause it has happened to me and now i have gymnasticsWww@QuestionHome@Com
