Question: School dance, need help with idea!.!.!.!?

my school dance is held in this audtiorium room in my school, but they want to make a platform for the middle, like they have in nightclubs!. so it would basically be the dance floor, and then in the middle would be a platform, about 40 cm above the ground or so!. but they dont know what to make it out of!.!.!. what materials should we use to hold the weight of everyone!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think your strongest bet is to use metal for the supports!. How you would build it!.!.!. unfortunetly I have no clue but metal will probably be your strongest!. Or if you don't know how to make one!.!.!.see if there is a place you can rent one from, or buy, or something like that!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
