Question: What to do about a blister from pointe!?

I have a fairly small blister on the inside of my pinky toe!. I have auditions tomorrow and I was wondering whether or not I should pop it!. also, does anyone have any suggestions for what I could do to protect it!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I get blisters on my pinkies from pointe all the time!. Get 2nd skin!. It is a square gel patch and if you cut a little square part off and put it on your toe and put a band aid on it it should be gone within 2 or three days!. Don't pop it whatever you do!. dont pop it!. it could get infected if you do!. just tape it up or put a band aid on it!. when you get back from the audition soak you feet in warm water and Epson Salts!. if it doesnt go away sterilize a needle (hold it up against a match) and let it cool down and then poke a small hole in the blister to let all of the liquid out!. then put neosporin on it and a band aid!. When I got enormous blisters on my big toes, my teacher said to poke it with a needle of some sort, gently squeeze all the fluid out, and then wrap it tightly and don't take off the bandage for about a week so new skin can grow!. Make sure you don't peel off the skin from the blister until it is completely healed underneath! If it hurts I would suggest doing this, but if it isn't bothering you, then put a band aid on it and keep going =]

I don't know whether you should pop it or not!.!.!.try taping it with medical tape!.!.!.should help!. also, I think you can get tape especially for pointe blisters!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

go to the drugstore and buy bandages that are put out by band aid in a shiny silver box!. They are phenomenal!Www@QuestionHome@Com
