Question: Sore muscles from dance!?
ok i have dance once a week but after that i am sore for the rest of the week we warm up and stretch then practice a high kicks then try the splits then do our dances!.!.!.!. but the next morning i can barely walk and am sore for the rest of the week!.!.!. how can i ease and prevent the pain!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

i take motrin that night after dance, and then the next morning!. when i come home from dance, i put a heating pad on my back, ice my ankles and soak them, elevate them onto pillows and put a neck roll pillow on my neck!. im still a bit sore after that but medicine does help, just dont take too many at a time!. i also use bengay muscle rub!. it helps ALOT and smells really minty!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Ok, at first this will make your muscles hurt worse, but you should try stretching throughout the week!. This way, you will become more flexable,and your muscles will become used to the stretch!. This should stop it from hurting!. It worked for me!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Everyone is giving such great ideas!. also try muscle rub wherever you feel the pain right after your dance class!. Definitely try taking motrin like an hour or two before class!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
