Question: What Colleges/Universities have a GREAT performing dance program!? (Contemporary/Modern/Jazz/Hip-… Ive been dancing for abt 7 years and Im in my senior year looking for a good dance college- I was on youtube looking up some "prestigious ones" and all i found was very mild type dancing- any suggestions on colleges to look up!?!?

Desiree Robbins from Tremaine used to teach at Irvine!. I'm not sure if she still does!. But even so, you can always go take class at the Edge in your spare time!. If you plan to dance as a pro, you'll need to be in LA to make good connections!. New York is also a great city to be in!. In my own experiences, NY is more focused on the art, study, technique, and beauty of dance while LA is geared toward getting jobs as dancers!. If you can do it all, train in NY and get work in LA!.
