Depends on the company, the specific show, her role, her partner, and a number of other factors!. ballerinas earn an average of $50000 a year, with health benefits and a 401(k) paid by the company/hiring entity!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Very, very few professional ballet dancers can calculate their pay as an annual salary!. Even in the top companies, the contracts indicate pay on a weekly basis!. And there are no year-round contracts that I know of!. There can be small companies that pay $300/ week for only 30 weeks!. But you can have contracts be for just a handful of performances, a month, or maybe just for "expenses" like travel and pointe shoes!.

My main source is the internet, too, and I can provide you with the link to the Bureau of Labor Statistics:

If you scroll way down to the Earnings section, you'll see that x0_dance_lovee_x0x's numbers are in the range of the earnings cited for SALARIED CHOREOGRAPHERS, not dancers!. The information clearly says:
"Median hourly earnings of dancers were $9!.55 in May 2006!. The middle 50 percent earned between $7!.31 and $17!.50!. The lowest 10 percent earned less than $6!.62, and the highest 10 percent earned more than $25!.75!. Annual earnings data for dancers were not available, because of the wide variation in the number of hours worked by dancers and the short-term nature of many jobs—which may last for 1 day or 1 week—make it rare for dancers to have guaranteed employment that exceeds a few months!."

FEW MONTHS!. And those numbers lump together all kinds of dancers, including those who dance for commercial productions!. Ballet dancers, who dance for non-profit companies, earn near the bottom of the range!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

well i did a careers progect and it said the average earned 35,000 but the lowest was 14,000 and the highest was 60,000
