Remember that in order to get from the side to the back your leg must lift higher not drop!. How!? It's all in the standing leg!. When you start the initial developpe make sure your standing leg is lengthened and rotated, Pressing your foot down to the floor while lengthening up through the leg!. Continue this feeling throughout the whole rond, making sure to not allow your standing knee to buckle or your quad to round forward!. Keep it flat in rotation and length!. If you put more energy in to the standing leg then the working leg is free to do what it needs to do!. It's all about opposition!. Give it a try, good luck!Www@QuestionHome@Com

what exactly is the issue with your ronde de jambe!? is your leg too low!? is your turnout less than you'd like!? can you not keep your leg in the air for as long as you'd like!? the solution all depends on what you want to fix!.

if you need help getting your leg higher, try doing developpes every day and holding your leg as high as you can for as long as you can!. gradually increase your strength!.

if your turnout is an issue, then sit with your legs in butterfly position and push your knees to the ground and keep them there!.

if endurance is your problem, then put your leg on the barre, then take it off and hold it at the height of the barre for as long as you can!. increase your time every week or so!.

ha, i suck at EVERYTHING!. but my teacher always says to feel like your pulling out of your hip and lifting up and away when you move your leg!. it really helps!. i hope it help you too!. ask you teacher for help the next time you do it during barre!. im not sure how everyone else's teachers are, but mine are funny, they make up funny words and sound effects with EVERYTHING and sing along with the music!. their really more like friends!. but yeah, thats what i would do!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
