Question: I am learning to do the splits!?
I am SO close like I really just want to fricken sit in the splits!

What are the best stretches I can do (im doing jazz splits the ones with one leg front you are facing forward and one in the back)!? I have stretches each leg like leaning to the side grabbing the toe, one leg crunched and I am crouching and stretching hte opposite leg!.

And amazingggggg stretches!? haha!. No I do not take gymnastics, I just want to learn so i could stretch and keep in shape!. I am also doing the scorpion which I can now do!.

When doing the splits, do you hold yourself up with your hands!? If so, just lift up your hands and completely relax!.!.!.and if you are SO close!.!.!.then you have it! Hold it and when you don't think you can hold it anymore, hold it for 10 more seconds!. It releases the muscles!. Make sure you are always warm when you stretchWww@QuestionHome@Com

to start your split (in order to get them fully), try kneeling on one knee then only move that one back!.!.!.do not push the front one forward!. make sure you keep your hips SQUARE!. there is no point in having the splits if you aren't squared off!. this means don't rock to the right if your right leg is in the front, and don't rock to the left if your left is in front!. yes it'll hurt more to shift your weight over to the other side!.!.!.but trust me it is worth it!. :-) keep working at it!!Www@QuestionHome@Com

OK The best thing to do with this is stretch 20 minutes or more a day just doing your splits do them while you watch tv or do your homeworkWww@QuestionHome@Com
