Question: DANCERS! what do you wear under your leos !?

i danced for 7 years
then left
now im going back
and i wasn't developed before
im going shopping tonight for leos shoes and such
do you wear thongs!? seamless underwear!? strappless bras!? no bra!?
leos with built in bras!?

okay i usually dont wear a bra, bcuz even at 16 i have no boobs, well not much of any neway lol and if i do I wear a sports bra, or clear back bra!.!.!.also they have stick on ones for performances!.!.!.but it would b easiest to wear a strapless or clear back if u have breast!.

Panties!.!.it kinda a no no unless u can see them thru ur leo!.!.!.g string is good, or some high cut panties!.!.!.no granny panties that show!. also, it is perfectly fine going w/ no panties bcuz u have tight and a leo and they are made for that!.!.if u havent notice they have cloth material there!. Actually that wat professionals do!. It totally acceptable for dance!.!.!.outside of dance no lol

Usually if you're smaller than a CC, it's safe to go with no bra!. (For some reason, most of us dancers and gymnasts have really small boobs!.) If you're a CC or bigger, wear a strapless sports (compression) bra unless you feel comfortable going without!. And I wear nude-toned, white or sometimes black thongs or G-strings with leotards, because those are most comfortable to dance in and you won't have to worry about them showing!.

Generally i don't wear anything underneath except tights!. Leotards are actually really supportive!. Wearing a bra is so restrictive on the choices of leotards! You can't get low back, skinny strap or anything!. You can pretty much only get tank! Boring! If you don't have humungo boobs, go with no bra!. You can also get special dance bras which are skintone and some have clear straps and stuff!.

Undies - thats a personal prefference!. If you have a high cut leo, they show up!. So this restricts you even further!

If you did wear underwear (undies and bras) this would mean:
-NO low backs
-NO skinny straps

It usually depends on how strict your dance studio is!.

I don't wear a bra or underwear!. If you feel like you have to wear a bra, I would get a leotard with a built in bra!.
You should only wear pink tights under your leotard!. That is totally ok at dance!. And if it is absolutely ( ex!. you are on your period) you can put in a pantie liner !.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I wear thongs and a regular bra!. My studio doesn't really care if you have bra straps showing, though!. Most don't anymore unless you're going somewhere serious!. Don't get a strapless bra, because it will be really annoying!. Unless you're huge, no bra or a regular bra will be fine!. If you're really big, then wear a sports bra!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

The rule of thumb is you want to be comfortable in order to train/perform your best!. If you feel weird without a bra then wear a bra!. If you find it restricting then don't wear it!. Same deal with panties!. Up to you!. I'm sure you can find the kind that don't show the panty lines!.
What I discovered that my comfort level have changed throughout the years of dancing!. 6 years ago I felt that going without a bra is out of question for me, but now I find it depends on the costume!. It's not my cup size that changed, it's my dancing that changed!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

i wear no panties under it! && its best & most professional, when i did wear them i had like double wedgies( cause i wear dance shorts as well)
I do however wear a bra, just encase it gets cold & its one less thing i'd have to worry about, im 15, && I have not to get too "gross" but i have C's!. so I really feel uncomfortable without one!. <3 =) ! I hope this helped! Www@QuestionHome@Com

our "uniform" for my studio was always a black leo and tan tights or pink if it was ballet!.

Underneath i always wore a g-string or thong, with a black bra with a low back so it would hide under the back part of my leo!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
