Go with what you can do naturally best!. We have seen what happens to people on American Idol!. They are pursuing something that looks glorious to them, and end up embarrassing themselves!. If they were took stick with their Natural talent they would have no problem succeeding!. Get a vocal coach!. If you can't find one, get a vocal coach book and CD off of Amazon and do the exercises, or some of these off YouTube http://www!.youtube!.com/results!?search_qu!.!.!.

There are a small number of vital aspects to singing well:
Most important is pitch !.!.!. hit the note, and hit it every time!. Practice like it's target practice!. Second is timing !.!.!. I don't think you'll have any problems with this if you're a good dancer; and third is breathing in the right place!. I hate to see otherwise great singers taking breaths in the middle of words because no-one ever taught them not to!. You also need to be able to control your breath !.!.!. how much of it you use while you are singing different notes and phrases!. Finally, and very important in Musical Theatre, is Diction!. This means people understanding every word you sing!. If they don't, then they won't understand what's going on, on stage, during the musical!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
