Question: Homecoming !?
So I'm a freshman this year, and I'm taking a girl to homecoming!.
My dad is talking about corsages, and dinner and all that fun stuff!.
So what *do* I do for a freshman homecoming!?
What should I wear!?
Do I take her to dinner!?
If so, where!?
What about corsages!?
Her favorite color is pink!.
I have pretty long hair!.
I keep my bangs to about 3/4 the way down my nose,
the sides are about level with my mouth, and on the back
of your neck, the top vertebrae, that's where the back
of my hair ends!.
How should I wear my hair!?
Should I know how to dance any specific way!?
I mean, basic slow dancing, etc!. I am comfortable with,
but for other songs, should I just follow the crowd!?

This might not be very supportive but I'll give it my best shot!. Is your homecoming dance after your football game!? Two years ago ours was, and last year they were on separate days!.
Just dress nice, there's no need to overdo it!. Prom is when the tux gets involved :/ haha, but at my last homecoming, I wore khaki pants with a nice buttoned black shirt and tie!. Your date will be wearing a dress because it's probably a big deal for her!. Maybe ask her what color her dress is and you can match your shirt and tie with it!.
I am trying hard to remember but I think I got my date a corsage!. Homecoming isnt a HUGE deal at our school, but the corsage was a nice touch!. Lots of people didn't have corsages and it was no biggie!.
My suggestion - if your really close to each other ignore this, but if your a little shy, try to hang out with her early in the day to clear some tension!. Later on she will want to be with her girlfriends and do each others hair and so on!. I never took my date out to eat but its up to you!. I just think it's a chance (I wouldn't risk) to spill food or get messy!.
Sorry, can't help you with your hair as mine is shorter in length!.
also, for fast dancing - follow the crowd, feel the rhythm, you can't go wrong!.
