Maybe because it's dangerous and your scared of breaking your neck and becoming a quadriplegic!. Listen kid, if you really want to learn how to do flips and many other stuff I suggest you get help from a local gymnast, or at least a professional B-Boy or B-Girl, don't have any confidence because you don't have any guidance and I know you don't want to spend any money but is it really worth the risk of your neck and your life!? Here a short video I think you should watch!. http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=JfYzeJ5Wj!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My friends can do break-dancing tricks really well!. They are helping me and the best way to learn is to start off easy!. They learnt how to do flips 3 different ways!.

1!. Trampolines - They really help and you know you're going to be safe
2!. Swimming Pools - Standing on the edge and then flipping from there
3!. Ground Somersaults - Learn to do them and gradually use less of your body on the ground

If you are going to learn them, please put lots of pillows etc!. beneath you! We don't want injuries! HTHWww@QuestionHome@Com

Here's a tip I learned a long time ago!.!.!. Some pro athletes do it!.!.!. Imagine yourself doing it!. Imagine it as vividly as possible!.!.!. from different perspectives (your point of view, an outsider's view, etc) imagine it up close, and in full color!. Imagine how you'll feel after you've done it for the first time!.

A recent study showed that people who imagined playing the piano significantly imrpoved their piano playing skills!.!.!. even if they had none or very little before!. I've used this teqnique several times, and I must say, it seemed to work!.

Plus, once you've imagined it, it's not so daunting, and unfamiliar!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

If you have one near you, try strapping yourself to one of those bungie lead things on a trampoline!. Then you will soon get the hang of things!.

Good Luck!
