Ballet, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, ballroom, Latin, swing, street, disco, bellly-dance, lyrical, waltz, JFH (jazz, funk, hip-hop), funk, R'n'B, character, demi-character, etc!.!.!. try searching for some on the net, or maybe consult your dance school and ask about what styles they offer, and the differences and a basic summary!. Good luck! http://en!.wikipedia!.org/wiki/List_of_dan!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com there are as many styles of dance as there are dancers in the world!. if you want to try a real challenge though, check out modern, or 'contemporary' dance!. i've found it to be a better workout than even Jive or Krump dancing, because it uses every single muscle group in your body!. i'm a big fan of the work of martha graham and marion rice!. your height would make it difficult for you to make any headway in ballet, but if you want to move towards competition, virtually all competitive dance is choreographed!. as you learn more movements you'll learn to improvise!. i totally wowed them when i threw some swing moves into a latin competition!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Comtemporary, Ballet, Pointe (may take a while), Hip Hop, Krumping, Bollywood, Ballroom!.
