Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: good for you!!! it's always best to get a head start ad be proactive!. it depends on what type of dance you want to pursue; musical theatre, ballet, jazz, modern, etc!. there is a catalog that you can order called Dance Magazine College Guide and it lists tons of colleges that have dance programs and Pointe magazine has an issue that lists colleges all over the world; some more prestigious than others, but i think it will help you in your quest!. here are some of the schools i'm looking at: UC irvine julliard (ny) CAL State Fullerton Chapman university marymount manhattan college (ny) oaklahoma city university oral roberts university point park university there is also NYU, Queens, and a few others i can't think of but you get the idea!. just stay open minded, and remember that julliard isn't the ONLY one that produces fantastic dancers/performers!. but think about what your ultimate goal is (ABT, SFB, mark moris, broadway!.!.!.etc!.) and find out what you need to do to get there!.Www@QuestionHome@Com State Univ!. of N!.Y!. is awesome and then there's New York Univ!.
